Beam and Grain Designs is a small town business, that is owned and operated by a husband and wife, Elizabeth and Justin Dunning. Justin is a volunteer firefighter for their hometown fire department and Elizabeth works full-time in manufacturing electrical maintenance. In 2020 life changed and took a sharp turn when Elizabeth was diagnosed with cancer. That experience tested everything, but the two of them came out stronger than ever at the end of the battle. Although this life altering battle caused them to be unable to have children, they decided to pour all their love into their furbaby Mae! Also known as the shop dog who loves treats and all the attention!
After overcoming such a heavy battle, they realized they wanted to build something of their own that reflected resilience and hope. They had always dreamed of creating something meaningful especially after learning that some paths in life would not be possible them. This perspective allowed them to move forward instead of hold back.
Beam and grain designs has been up and running since October of 2025, Elizabeth and Justin are learning and teaching themselves as they go. This has been a journey of growth, creativity, and constant improvement.
Beam and Grain Designs mission is to build a business that not only supports dreams but also helps others bring theirs to life!
